Tyler Wilcox, CPA, founder of Velu and nonprofit accounting advisor.

Meet Tyler Wilcox, CPA

Tyler Wilcox, CPA founded Velu to help nonprofit leaders build stronger financial foundations and make more confident decisions.

With more than 15 years of accounting experience—including over a decade serving nonprofits—Tyler has supported dozens of organizations across the United States, from startups to nonprofits approaching $10 million in annual activity.

His experience spans nonprofit accounting, Form 990 preparation, federal and state tax compliance, consulting, audit, and advisory work with organizations navigating growth, complexity, and decision-making. That background shapes Velu’s approach today: financial information should be accurate and compliant, but it should also help leaders understand what is happening, evaluate options, strengthen accountability, and make better decisions.

Tyler is a Certified Public Accountant, a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Level 2, and holds the AICPA Nonprofit Level 1 Certificate.
